I met up with Liz and Noah while on a recent trip to Los Angeles and while down there, photographed their engagement session. Despite having grown up in LA, I really haven’t worked a ton there so it was a real treat to photographically explore places that I was familiar with only as a visitor/former resident. We started their session in the Arts District in downtown and had a lot of fun just walking around looking for interesting light and good backdrops. We ended at Barnsdall Art Park which has some killer views of LA, and fun fact: I learned that my great uncle, Arthur Stephens, was one of the architects of the Municipal Art Gallery that’s at the park. These two (who met in High school!) were so fun and easy to hang out with - we’re really looking forward to their October wedding up in the Bay!
