When we first started photographing weddings, Adm and I put together “best of” posts at the end of the year, and I decided to bring that back for 2018! I actually love these posts because they’re not only fun reminders of all the people and celebrations we’ve photographed, which can sometimes feel like a blur when you’re in the thick of wedding season, but they also are great to see how our style has changed over the year and if you go way back over the past decade (!!).
Pulling for the best of engagement post was not nearly as daunting of a task as it’s been pulling for the best of weddings post, which will come soon. We had our busiest year to date last year and probably made around 250,000 photographs - that is a LOT of pictures to edit. And, editing photos is almost as subjective as making them. I find myself drawn to different favorite images looking at sets now than when I initially edited the highlights shortly after photographing them. At any rate, before I change my mind <again> here are some of our favorites from last year’s engagement sessions!
