We had the BEST time photographing Elin and Cody and their family and friends. These two were so easygoing, playful, and happy! If their wedding is any indication of what their marriage is going to be like, we know Elin and Cody are in for a good time. Congratulations you two!

We loved Leah and Devin's intimate lake house wedding on Lake Tulloch near Copperopolis in central California. They tied the knot standing on a dock surrounded by their closest family and friends. Then they went for a sunset ride around the lake, stopping on a little private island for their portrait session.
It was a little extra special for us to photograph Leah and Devin's wedding because some of our favorite former brides and grooms counted among their closest friends, and so it felt like being surrounded by family for us too.

Remember Addie and Jon? The ones who baked cookies in their kitchen for their engagement session? True to form, these two also made their wedding very much their day. They tied the knot at the Community Church of Mill Valley and then paraded (with live music, bubbles and streamers no less!) through town to their reception where a beer and cheese tasting bar (with everything selected by Jon) awaited them.
Addie and Jon also wrote letters to one another that they exchanged and read while we were photographing their portraits, away from their guests, next to a creek in the redwoods. It was such a sweet and special moment, I almost felt like I shouldn't have been there, except that those might be my favorite photos from their wedding. Congratulations, Addie and Jon!
Read MoreCatherine + Quincy in Lodi, CA
We are THRILLED to see Catherine and Quincy's wedding featured on Wedding Chicks today! These two were married last summer, and the thing I remember most about their wedding was this feeling of closeness. Catherine and Quincy have been together for quite a long time and they've cultivated a shared group of friends who came together from all over the country to celebrate these two. They had some of the most heartfelt toasts we've heard, and so many people pitched in to help which really made this wedding feel like a true family production. Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi could not have been a more perfect spot - I mean, when you say your vows under an enormous old oak tree and dance the night away in a barn, you are guaranteed to have one amazing wedding.

You couldn't have asked for a more perfect Bay Area day for Katie and Nick's wedding last summer. Everything took place at Nick's parents' home, and the views of the Bay were spectacular all day long, but then, the sun went down, and somehow it became even more breathtaking. Situated above the twinkling lights of Oakland and San Francisco, it was as if Katie and Nick and their guests were in their own dream world, dancing above the city, far away from reality. Actually, these two seemed to be in their own world throughout - even though they have been together since they were 15, they couldn't keep their eyes off one another all night.

I met Josh during my freshman year at UNC - we actually lived in the same dorm, and we spent a lot of time hanging out during college. Even though he's from North Carolina, he moved out to California right after graduation, and that helped us keep in touch over the years. It also means that Adm and I have been able to get to know Kim these last five years or so that they've been together, and these two make such a great couple.
